Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the Neuro Unit in Billings, MT. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with the care team, and potential Health Unit Coordinator duties on a day/night rotation.

Required Montana CNA license and BLS certification, plus basic computer literacy and strong communication skills. Benefits eligible; full-time position with weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA license and BLS Certification at time of hire.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes, hydration, ambulation and comfort measures.
• Report and record patient care findings promptly; alert changes in condition.
• May perform telemetry duties and function as patient care attendant.
• Transport medications to RN as required on unit.
• Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient care.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities (phones, orders, unit records, supplies).
• Implement plan of care as delegated; perform duties within scope of practice.
• Maintain safety in emergencies.
