Job summary

Northwestern Medicine’s Neuro Telemetry unit is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for day shifts. You will provide direct bedside nursing care, assess patients, coordinate plan of care, and collaborate with physicians and the health team to deliver safe, evidence-based care in a high-acuity environment.

Required: BSN preferred; Illinois RN license; BLS; strong communication and analytical skills; ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; Illinois RN license; BLS; strong communication skills; ability to collaborate with others.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years.
• Experience in Neuro Telemetry or acute care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care for acutely ill patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with physicians, family, and health-team members.
• Document patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in governance, committees, and unit projects.
