Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking a Perioperative RN to oversee and direct care for patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures. The nurse will coordinate care, manage the surgical team, and support the perioperative process in a 40-hour workweek.

The role requires current LA RN license, BLS and ALS certifications (or ability to obtain within orientation), CNOR preferred, and in-house availability within 30 minutes when on call. Emergency coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• BLS and ALS certifications required; may be obtained during orientation.
• CNOR certification preferred for perioperative nursing.
• One year surgery RN experience required; two years preferred.
• Available to be in-house within 30 minutes when on call.
