The Patient Care Technician position at Endeavor Health is located at Highland Park Hospital. You will work full time in the evening shift with rotating weekends, performing patient care tasks under RN/LPN direction and ensuring safety and comfort for patients.

Responsibilities include hourly rounding, basic nursing care (ADLs), safe handling, admissions/discharges/transfers, and ward support. Requires CNA training or clinical rotation experience with current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: eligible to work in the US; CNA training preferred; nursing clinical rotation preferred.
• Licensure: Current BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience: no experience required.

Responsabilités

• Interact with patients and visitors; respond to call lights and phones; hourly rounding.
• Assist in ambulation, safe patient handling, and repositioning with equipment.
• Provide basic nursing care: bathing, grooming, feeding, ADLs under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admission, discharge, transfers and room orientation.
• Document patient care activities, vitals, weights, intake/output per policy.
• Support unit activities: restock, transport, retrieve supplies and records.
