Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for Neuro Stepdown on a full-time day shift (3x12s, 7:00am-7:30pm) in Granite City, IL. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Licensing in the state or a compact license is required, along with a BSN/AD diploma, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. New graduate bonus of $10k and experienced nurse bonus of $20k are available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
