Job summary

Mercy is hiring a RN-Neuro Stepdown for full-time day shifts (3x12 hours, 7:00am–7:30pm) in Missouri. The role focuses on delivering nursing care through the nursing process, coordinating with departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Eligible for a $10k new graduate bonus and a $20k experienced nurse bonus.

Education requires an RN program completion (AD/ Diploma/ BSN) with active licensure in the hiring state or a compact license. BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license and state-specific requirements.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
