Job summary

Mercy is hiring an RN-Neuro Stepdown on a full-time day shift (7:00am–7:30pm). The role involves applying the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinating with other departments, and evaluating care effectiveness while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. New graduates may receive a $10k bonus and experienced nurses a $20k bonus.

Education required: nursing degree (AD, diploma, or BSN). Active RN license (state or compact) and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
