Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse on the Neuro Stepdown unit for a full-time day shift (7:00am–7:00pm, 36 hours/week, with some weekends). The role requires applying the nursing process, coordinating care, educating patients/families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved nursing program with an active RN license and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and interventions.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans to achieve outcomes.
