Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Clinical Technician for the H62/H63 Neuro Stepdown unit. Work involves day shifts (7:00am–7:30pm) in a high-acuity neurology and medical-surgical patient population, with 3-12 hour shifts and weekend/holiday rotation.

The role focuses on providing essential patient care under RN supervision, monitoring vital signs, assisting with ADLs and ensuring room cleanliness, while adhering to hospital policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross within the new-hire period.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience OR nursing student with at least one clinical rotation OR military medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN, including vital signs, transfers and activities of daily living.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
