Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the Cardiovascular Stepdown unit on the Main Campus. You will join a 24-bed unit providing high-acuity care under RN supervision, with opportunities to grow cardiac skills and work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team.

The role requires nights (7:00pm–7:30am) with weekend/holiday rotations, a strong patient-centered approach, and the ability to support a safe healing environment on a renowned healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; if not held, must obtain during new hire period.
• Nursing students: BLS Certification required.
• Military experience as Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered.
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs and weight.
• Assist with personal care and dressing changes, and apply external monitoring devices.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.
