Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Step Down Unit in a Level II Trauma Center. This high-acuity team cares for neuro postoperative patients, brain and spinal injuries, strokes, and seizures. The SDU is 17 beds, staffed by a forward-thinking team, using state-of-the-art technology.

Schedule: Nights on a 12-hour shift. Sign-on bonus and relocation incentives are available.

Qualifications

• Idaho or multistate RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for neuro patients in a Level II trauma center.
• Assess, stabilize, and monitor post-operative and neurologic patients.
• Deliver high-quality care for patients with brain/spinal injuries, seizures, and strokes.
• Utilize advanced clinical skills on a 17-bed SDU in a high-acuity setting.
