Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Maine, Waterville, is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Neuro Home & Community for neuro-focused home and community therapy. This role emphasizes real-world functional communication, cognition, and swallowing in patients recovering from neurological injury or illness.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and support cognitive-communication and swallowing rehabilitation with clinical autonomy and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program is required.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, patients and families.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
