Job summary

Moody Neuro Rehabilitation Institute in Houston, Texas seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient care for adults with brain injuries and related conditions. You will assess, monitor, and document patient status, collaborate with the clinical team, and support discharge planning.

The role requires strong nursing skills, experience in rehabilitation settings, and the ability to work rotating shifts. You will ensure safety, maintain confidentiality, and follow Moody Neuro policies throughout care

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license and eligible to practice.
• Knowledge of TBI and related syndromes.
• Ability to work with a diverse clinical team.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Capacity to work rotating shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to obtain NCI certification.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document patients’ status, behavior, and progress during shifts.
• Coordinate with the Medical Director, Program Director, and care team for care plans.
• Supervise and document nursing care and patient safety.
• Administer medications and manage routines per policy.
• Perform wound care and assist with transfers as needed.
• Conduct initial TB testing and annual screenings.
