Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation on the Central Coast of California is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT. The role emphasizes real-world, community-based rehabilitation with flexible scheduling and clinical autonomy.

Qualified candidates hold a current PTA license in their practicing state and a valid BLS/CPR certification, with preferred 1 year of PTA experience.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of neurological rehabilitation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist per the treatment plan.
• Regularly communicates with the PT about progress and questions.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Reports equipment problems to ensure proper functioning.
• Facilitates adaptive equipment to improve patient function and progress.
• Maintains patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.
• Adheres to company policies and healthcare regulations.
• Participates in ongoing staff development and continuing education.
