Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation on the Central Coast in California is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver client-centered therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will provide services in community settings, collaborate with therapists, and help patients regain independence through personalized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year’s experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist.
• Regularly consults with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and plan.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Report problems with department equipment to ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist and secure adaptive equipment as needed.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct, policies and applicable state/federal laws.
• Attend and contribute to staff development programs and meetings; pursue continuing education.
