Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support clinicians in delivering patient-centered therapy in community settings on the Central Coast of California. The role emphasizes hands-on assistance, documentation, and real-world activities that promote independence.

Ideal candidates hold PTA licensure, CPR certification, and a readiness to work without weekends. The program offers flexible scheduling and ongoing education to advance clinically.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant training program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification in state of practice.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment interventions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises to improve strength, mobility and function.
• Provide training and document outcomes for patients and caregivers.
