Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services through Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Nutrition Services Specialist in the Denver area to deliver professional dietary care in line with state regulations and company policies. You will interview patients, assess nutritional needs, and coordinate with physicians to design and adjust therapeutic diets while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nutrition required, or the equivalent.
• Current Registered Dietitian licensure/certification required by state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of six months related experience generally required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nutritional services in compliance with state practice acts and professional standards.
• Interviews patients and assesses/evaluates their nutritional status; determines dietary needs and advises physicians/nursing personnel.
• Confers with physicians to establish dietary treatments and prepares therapeutic diets.
• Provides guidance to patients and families on dietary modifications and drug/nutrient interactions as appropriate.
• Observes patient responses, revises nutritional plans as needed in coordination with physicians and nurses.
