Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks a qualified nutrition professional to deliver specialized nutritional services aligned with state regulations and professional standards. Qualifications

• Degree in Nutrition required, or the equivalent.
• Current Registered Dietician licensure/certification in the state(s) of practice required by individual states(s).
• Minimum of six months related experience generally required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nutritional services in compliance with state practice acts and standards to meet patient needs.
• Interviews patients, assesses nutritional status, and determines dietary needs.
• Confers with physicians to establish dietary treatments and prepares therapeutic diets.
• Guides patients and families on dietary modifications and drug–nutrient interactions as appropriate.
• Observes patient responses, revises nutritional plans as needed, and communicates changes to the care team.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA/privacy practices.
• Pursues ongoing education and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
