Job summary

You will assess, plan, implement, and document care while supervising student nurses and nursing assistants to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

AR RN license with CPR is required; ACLS must be completed within 6 months, ASLS and Dysrhythmia within 18 months, and national certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Arkansas Registered Nurse license and CPR, required.
• ACLS required within 6 months.
• ASLS and Dysrhythmia required in 18 months.
• National certification in relevant field, preferred.
• New graduate and experienced nurses welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive and accurate patient assessment using evidence-based assessment tools.
• Provide nursing care according to plan and undertakes clinical practice skills in a competent and safe manner.
• Identify changes in patient's condition and report to appropriate providers.
• Monitor the care that patients receive.
• Maintain patients' medical records through complete and accurate documentation.
• Float among various clinical services, where qualified and competent.
• Evaluates patient's progress toward expected clinical outcomes, including treatments and health education, in collaboration with the patient and the health care team.
