Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. The role supports the Neuro team in a fast-paced, Magnet-designated teaching hospital environment with 28 OR suites and DaVinci/MIS capabilities.

The position requires current RN licensure, BLS, and OR experience; on-call rotations are part of the schedule, with a 3x12s or 4x10s shift pattern. Banner offers a sign-on incentive of $10,000 for experienced OR RNs.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the operating room is preferred.
• Must meet clinical performance competencies and continue education.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and document nursing care in the OR according to policies.
• Coordinate with surgeons and team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and document promptly.
• Support Neuro team and other service lines as cases wrap up or on call.
