Ascension in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Neuro at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for stroke and post-surgical patients.

You will coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and families, monitor patient status, and lead discharge planning to ensure a safe transition home. New graduates welcome, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Competenze

• BLS certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date.
• RN credential issued by Wisconsin Board of Nursing before hire date or via multi-state/Compact license.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

Mansioni

• Lead delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and surgeries.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care by serving as central hub between physicians, therapists, and families.
• Monitor and interpret patient status with high precision to identify changes and ensure rapid intervention.
