Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead high-acuity patient care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units in Milwaukee, utilizing progressive care training to stabilize and support complex patients. You will coordinate care across clinical disciplines to ensure a seamless and well‑coordinated recovery plan.

Based at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital, Med Surg Float, you will be the central contact for the care team, monitor patient safety, document journeys with precision, and respond to

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date
• RN credentialed by Wisconsin Board of Nursing or multi-state license
• PALS preferred by American Heart Association/Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Lead high-acuity patient care across Intermediate and Med/Surg units.
• Coordinate care as central point of contact for clinical disciplines.
• Monitor safety and document care journeys with precision to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Provide nursing support for hospital’s highest-acuity cases as needed
