Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• < 1 year applicable nursing experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license.
• BCLS required within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operates nursing strategies to improve engagement through rounds and other initiatives.
• Recommends and implements actions for staffing, training, performance evaluations, and discipline as needed.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Assists with inventory control and supplies/equipment management.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Licensed as a registered nurse or active compact license

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date
