You’ll collaborate with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate patient care, serving as a resource, and advancing nursing standards while supporting an outstanding patient experience.

The role focuses on admissions/discharges, staffing, quality improvement, and staff development in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state(s) of practice and/or active compact license; NC BON licensure; BLS within 30 days; NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days.

Aufgaben

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of care quality in the unit, in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement, including employee rounds and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; supports performance actions as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and supervision of supplies and equipment.
