Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in NC; NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days; BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, staff training, and development; conducts evaluations and policy compliance actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Supports inventory control and supplies management.
