UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a Full-Time Interventional Technologist to join our Neuro Interventional team. You’ll perform and assist with interventional procedures using advanced radiographic techniques while maintaining patient safety.

This role offers four 10-hour daylight shifts weekly with rotating on-call duties, ongoing mentoring, and clear pathways for career growth. ARRT credential and BLS required; sign-on bonus of $20,000 is available.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology.
• ARRT certification or RCIS or RCIS-equivalent credential required.
• CPR certification as per AHA standards.
• Act 34 clearance.

Aufgaben

• Perform and assist with interventional procedures using advanced radiographic techniques.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through preparation and monitoring.
• Administer contrast following protocol under proceduralist supervision.
• Review patient history, follow physician orders, and document in EHR.
• Maintain aseptic technique and participate in time-out processes for each procedure.
• Code, archive, and charge exams in systems.
• Collaborate with team and other departments with compassion and communication.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform and assist with interventional procedures using advanced radiographic techniques
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through correct preparation and continuous monitoring
• Administer contrast following protocol under the direction of the proceduralist
• Accurately review patient history, follow physician orders, and document everything in the electronic health record
• Uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique and participate in time-out processes for every procedure
• Make sure exams are properly coded, archived, and charged in our systems
• Collaborate with your team and other departments, always demonstrating compassion, respect, and excellent communication

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT Certificate OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
