Job summary

The Radiology Technologist II at MUSC Health performs routine diagnostic radiographs and is responsible for performing minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor.

Education includes graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology with a minimum of 1 year of experience. ARRT registration and SC licensure are required; BLS is required and ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in radiology.
• ARRT registration and SC licensure required.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic radiographs under supervision.
• Assist with minor interventional procedures when directed by a radiologist.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in imaging procedures.
