Job summary

The Mount Carmel NSICU in Columbus, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the 12-hour night shift. The RN will care for high-acuity neuro patients in a Magnet-recognized environment and participate in evidence-based practice.

Qualifications include nursing graduate, Ohio RN license, and 2 years' experience for casual RNs; new grads enter a Nurse Residency Program. Relocation assistance and tuition benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• New graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are enrolled in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety and promotes quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for assigned group of neuro patients.
• Communicates pertinent information to team members in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes according to standards.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
