Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) on a 12 Hour Night Shift. The NSICU has 16 beds and provides care to high acuity neuro patients within Ohio's comprehensive stroke program.

The RN collaborates with the care team, delivering patient-centered care under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, utilizing evidence-based practices, and documenting assessments and outcomes accurately.

Competenze

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• New graduate nurses with less than 1 year of clinical experience are enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.

Mansioni

• Provide nursing care, ensure patient safety, promote evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients and collaborate with patient and family to develop a plan of care.
• Communicate pertinent information to team members in a timely manner and keep patient/family updated.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Assume responsibility for care provided by other caregivers as appropriate.
