Corewell Health's Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks an experienced RN for the Neuro Critical Care Unit (4W MHC Butterworth) to provide professional nursing care in a 14-bed ICU. The role emphasizes patient-family centered care, collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and nurses, and adherence to Corewell Health policies.

The position is full-time, night shift (19:00–07:30) with a 36-hour weekly schedule and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months.
• 6 months RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN, under ANA scope, uses nursing process to provide professional care and patient-family centered care to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• RN provides quality patient care under the Nurse Leader supervision according to Corewell Health policies and procedures, recognizing the impact of care on patient outcomes.
• RN partners with patient/family input and goals in planning the care and develops teaching strategies for patient/family; documents education and learning in the health record.
