Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity unit. You will coordinate care and supervise staff per nursing process, ensuring safety and adherence to hospital policies.

Required is graduation from an accredited nursing program with current license; 1 year RN experience for PRN status and QI/infection control awareness. BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.
• Current license and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Supervise staff and ensure high quality, safe nursing care.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care per nursing process.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Perform HICS responsibilities during emergencies.
