Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient ICU setting at Baptist Easley Med Campus. You will apply evidence-based nursing processes, assess patients, plan care, and coordinate with the healthcare team for quality outcomes.

The position requires an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), an active RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience. Night shifts are required in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience - One year as a registered nurse.
• Current RN license recognized in the state.
• In lieu of one year RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency or equivalent residency accepted.
• In lieu of Associate degree, nursing diploma with licensure accepted.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment using appropriate area/age standards and tools.
• Develops an individual plan of care in collaboration with patient/family, provider, and healthcare team.
• Updates the plan based on changes in patient condition and communicates changes to team.
• Identifies measurable goals and outcomes to be attained prior to discharge.
• Provides direct care aligned with the nursing plan and delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Monitors quality of care and participates in performance improvement.
