Job summary

Spectrum Health’s Neuro Critical Care Unit at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking an ICU nurse to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced neuro critical care setting. You will take vitals, assist with neurological assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support stroke and neuro patients.

The role is full-time day shift from 7:00am to 7:30pm, with a 36-hour workweek. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, along with opportunities for growth and learning

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• Experience in direct patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and monitor patient condition.
• Provide basic nursing care including bed baths, ambulation, and wound care.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with RN/Providers and other health care team members.
• Report observations to the health care team and coordinate patient needs.
