Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville is seeking a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am, three nights weekly). You will apply the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure continuum of care.

We care for adults with neurological disorders and injuries, requiring individualized plans across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• RN license or eligible for licensure in Tennessee
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred, with neuro/ICU exposure advantageous

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care across the continuum
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and care interventions
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans to meet goals
• Educates patients and families and promotes safe, evidence-based practices
• Maintains nursing standards and assists in quality improvement initiatives
