Job summary

Vanderbilt Clarksville Intensive Care Unit (ICU) seeks a full-time RN for night shifts (6:45p-6:45a) with a new $10/hour night differential. Role involves planning, organizing, and administering patient care within ICU settings, collaborating with the care team to meet patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

Certification: BLS, ACLS, NIH, ECG interpretation; orientation 12 weeks; 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratios; opportunities for professional growth within Vanderbilt Health.

Qualifications

• LIC-Registered Nurse licensure; Tennessee state licensure required.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Relevant work experience preferred; less than 1 year experience highlighted.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the care plan and coordinates delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes information to determine nursing diagnoses and guides interventions.
• Uses nursing process to evaluate patient progress and adjust care accordingly.
• Promotes patient safety and a healthy environment; adheres to policies and procedures.
