Job summary

TriHealth is seeking an Acute Care Technician to join the Neuro ICU team at Good Samaritan Hospital. The ACT supports nurses and clinical staff, delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to patients with high‑acuity needs and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, basic treatments, clerical tasks, and coordinating patient flow under nurse supervision. Previous BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years High School Education (Required)
• Age 17 with work permit
• Reading and math ability appropriate to the position
• Basic Life Support is required

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and specified treatments under direct supervision of the nurse.
• Perform non-direct patient care activities, stocking and clerical duties as assigned.
• Communicate with care teams with respect and compassion, supporting patient flow.
• Document observations and tasks, and coordinate patient flow with RN guidance.
