Job summary

Lutheran Hospital of Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Advanced Cardiac Therapy (ACT) unit. This full-time role is 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) with nights from 7p to 7a.

A welcome bonus eligible up to $35,000 is available to support team growth on this 24-bed unit focusing on heart failure, rhythm monitoring, and post‑AMI care. The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborates with the care team, administers medications, and participates in performance

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and perform CPR or code team activities as needed.
• Document patient care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
• Support infection control practices to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
