Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Neuro-Hospitalist in Mattoon, IL for a full-time, 7-on/7-off schedule with round-and-go flexibility. The role includes inpatient neurological consultations, ED coverage, and a dedicated teleneurology service for nights.

Board-certified or -eligible in Neurology, with an Illinois license (or immediate eligibility) and a DEA registration, are required. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Neurology Residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Illinois license active or immediate eligibility.
• DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurological consults and acute care management.
• Lead on-duty neuro-hospitalist services during your block.
• Cover ED consults from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Round-and-go model with daily rounds until 7:00 PM.
• Night teleneurology servicing inpatient and ER from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records of admissions and consultations.

Education
