The position partners with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility expanding care for complex neurological conditions, such as spine injuries and stroke. Schedule: Days, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and basic patient care activities.
• Basic math skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide or assist with patient care in outpatient clinic under supervision of RN or LIP.
• Complete the rooming process including vitals, intake questions, documentation and reporting abnormal findings.
• Collect patient specimens and perform point-of-care testing; prepare specimens for lab transport.
• Prepare patients for exams, tests and procedures (e.g., EKG, Holter, pulse oximetry, screening).
• Administer treatments such as heat/cold, dressing changes, casts and splints as directed.
• Review printed instructions with patients and answer questions.
• Assist with wound care and documentation in the EHR.
• Assist with setting and closing the clinic and maintaining supplies.
• Stock linens and supplies; monitor expiration dates and restock carts; check AED units and oxygen.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures as needed.
