Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist I with a primary focus in Neuro Endovascular procedures. The role supports Neuro Endovascular and vascular surgeons in high acuity cases at a Level I Stroke Center.

Requirements include ARRT-R with advanced ARRT certifications within 2 years, ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and a radiologic technology specialty program graduate. Eligible for up to $20,000 sign-on bonus and full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification required; ARRT-VI/CI/CV advanced certification within 2 years of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire; PALS within 6 months for GMC campus.
• Graduate from radiologic technology specialty program; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and document medications and radiation exposure per policy.
• Operate imaging equipment, ensure ALARA principles, optimize patient safety.
• Assist neuro endovascular and vascular surgeons during procedures.
• maintain sterile technique and procedural readiness throughout cases.
• Monitor hemodynamic data and assist with patient monitoring as needed.
