Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Neuro Behavioral Division (0.6FTE) and the Neuro Education Division (0.3FTE) with flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating nursing care, patient and family education, and transitions of care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model. New grads can apply via Nurse Residency; TN sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program; RN license required.
• One year RN experience required.
• BSN preferred; strong communication, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking.
• Internal applicants should attach their last three performance appraisals.
• Current RN licensure and BLS required; additional state licenses or certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and direct patient care for assigned patients.
• Educate patients and families; manage transitions of care.
• Demonstrate leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement.
• Engage in mentoring/teaching; participate on committees or projects.
• May be required to drive personal vehicle for role duties.
