Job summary

Leader Communications Inc is seeking a Network Administrator in Columbus, GA. The role covers administration, configuration, operations, and maintenance for voice, trunked radio, and video-teleconferencing within the Fort Benning Network Management System.

Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a valid US government security clearance. Strong experience with LAN/WAN components and VOIP infrastructure is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• Level II: 2 - 5 years' experience in an IT environment.
• Possess or able to obtain an IAT Level II certification; Security+ or CCNA or CySA+ certification is strongly desired.
• National Security background investigation required, Secret.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements and supports network solutions.
• Configure and maintain secured and unsecured LANs per IT standards.
• Analyze LAN utilization statistics and performance measures on classified and unclassified networks.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and fine-tune switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN end‑user devices.
• Test network systems for compatibility, operability and standards compliance.
• Perform system backups and restore operations for network equipment.
