Job summary

Insight Global is seeking multiple Network Translations & Voice Services Engineers for a fully remote, long-term opportunity in the United States. The role focuses on provisioning, configuring, testing, and deploying complex voice networks with emphasis on local translations across multiple switching platforms (5E, DMS100, DMS200, EWSD, GTD5) and NG911 migrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of voice network and local translations switches experience (5E/5ESS, D100/DMS100, DMS200, EWSD, GTD5).
• Strong knowledge of voice network architecture.
• Proven background provisioning, configuring, testing, and deploying voice solutions.
• Experience with Rate Center builds, NG911 and PRI disconnects.
• Experience with Local translations across multiple switching platforms (5E, DMS100, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain TDM, SIP, PRI, and trunking services.
• Perform Local Translations across platforms (5E/5ESS, D100/DMS100, DMS200, EWSD, GTD5, VzB).
• Support PRI disconnects, including VZT Business Services translations.
• Perform Rate Center builds and NG911/911 migrations, testing, and Tier 3 call rotation.
• Configure and troubleshoot end-to-end network routing and translations for new builds and migrations.
• Troubleshoot call-flow issues across SS7 and SIP using tools like nGenius Session Analyzer.
• Support RequestNet, Telepath, and NTARS processes and applications.
• Utilize voice network systems and tools including LTTS, TCOMS, and STMS.
• Perform provisioning, grooming, migration, and decommissioning across legacy and next-gen voice networks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Planning to implement network changes.

Network Translations & Voice Services Engineer:

Must haves:

5+ years experience in voice network and local translations switches- 5E/5ESS, D100/DMS100, DMS200, EWSD, GTD5,

Strong knowledge of Voice network architecture

Proven background in provisioning, configuring, testing, and deploying network/ voice solutions

Experience with Rate Center builds, NG911 and PRI Disconnects network architecture

Experience with Local translations across multiple switching platforms (5E, DMS100, etc.)

Pluses:

Experience with Local Translations, PRI Disconnects, Rate Centers, NG911/911, trunking, TDM, VoIP, SIP, and SS7. Working knowledge of 5E/5ESS, D100/DMS100, DMS200, EWSD, GTD5, VzB platforms, and Rate Center builds, along with experience using RequestNet, Telepath, NTARS, LTTS, TCOMS, STMS, and nGenius.

An employer is looking for a Network Translations/ Voice Services Engineer. You will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting complex telecommunications voice networks. This role supports Local Translations, PRI disconnects, Rate Center builds, NG911, migrations, trunking, and end-to-end call routing across legacy TDM and IP/SIP environments. Tasks will include:

• Provision, configure, and maintain TDM, SIP, PRI, and trunking services.
• Perform Local Translations across multiple switching platforms, including 5E/5ESS, D100/DMS100, DMS200, EWSD, GTD5, and VzB platforms.
• Support PRI disconnects, including VZT Business Services and associated translations.
• Perform Rate Center builds and support NG911/911 migrations, grooms, testing, and Tier 3 call rotation.
• Configure and troubleshoot end-to-end network routing and translations for new builds, migrations, disconnects, and network changes.
• Troubleshoot complex call-flow issues across SS7 and SIP protocols using tools such as nGenius Session Analyzer.
• Support RequestNet, Telepath, and NTARS processes and applications.
• Utilize voice network systems and tools including LTTS, TCOMS, and STMS.
• Perform complex provisioning, grooming, migration, and decommissioning activities across legacy and next-generation voice networks.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Planning, and other technical teams to resolve network issues and successfully implement network changes.
