Job summary

Pillar Innovations seeks a Network/Telecom Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot data network infrastructure. You will work on routers, switches, wireless, and security devices, ensuring reliable connectivity and timely issue resolution.

The role involves on-site support, coordination with the Electronic Security and Safety Department, and occasional after-hours or travel commitments. Strong documentation and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting all work daily to build a complete customer work history.
• Basic knowledge of control and electrical system design.
• Ability to troubleshoot IT network connected devices and perform on-site repairs.
• Flexibility for after-hours, travel, and possible emergency call-outs.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure hardware setup and field support.
• Troubleshoot and support routers, switches, wireless, and security devices.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and coordinate with teams.
• Collaborate with Operations to meet project goals.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting/repair for customers.
• Respond to after-hours calls promptly.
