Covenant Health in Knoxville, TN seeks a Senior Network Technician to diagnose and resolve complex network issues across multi-campus environments. You will lead and mentor junior staff and provide high-quality support to internal customers via phone, email, and in person.
The role requires five years of network troubleshooting experience, CCNA/Network+ preferred, knowledge of VLANs, routing, and LAN/WAN reliability.

Reporting to the IT Network Group Manager, under minimal supervision, the Senior Network Technician will be responsible for identifying and diagnosing complex issues affecting network performance. Senior Network Technician must be able to provide guidance and leadership to less experienced staff. Must be able to work resourcefully under limited supervision by providing quality support to internal and external customers over the phone, email, and in person.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or five (5) years equivalent work experience.
Five (5) years of experience in troubleshooting multi-campus complex data networks consisting of wired and wireless. Extensive knowledge and experience with VLANs, routing and non-vendor specific protocols. Thorough knowledge of network monitoring tools. Preference may be given to individuals who currently hold certifications such as, CCNA, CompTIA Network +, and CompTIA A+.
Must have and maintain a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated minimum insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
