Job summary

Covenant Health in Knoxville, TN seeks a Senior Network Technician to diagnose and resolve complex network issues across multi-campus environments. You will lead and mentor junior staff and provide high-quality support to internal customers via phone, email, and in person.

The role requires five years of network troubleshooting experience, CCNA/Network+ preferred, knowledge of VLANs, routing, and LAN/WAN reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field or five years equivalent work experience.
Five years of experience troubleshooting multi-campus data networks (wired and wireless).
Extensive knowledge of VLANs, routing, and non-vendor specific protocols.
Certification such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA A+ preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and diagnose complex network issues across multi-campus environments.
Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced staff.
Offer high-quality support to internal and external customers via phone, email, and in person.
Document network configurations and actions using Visio, Word and Excel.
Collaborate with engineers and other IT groups to plan corrective actions and improvements.
Perform onsite support and local travel as required.
