Job summary

Knight’s Companies is seeking a Network Technician Level 1 in South Carolina to support the company’s technology infrastructure. You will onboard new users, troubleshoot hardware and software, and maintain network devices across multiple sites.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, an associate degree in IT or CS, and a valid SC driver’s license. Occasional travel to client sites is expected, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with PC hardware, Windows OS, and networks.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and offboard new users.
• Respond to help desk tickets; follow SOPs.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain PCs, networks, printers, cameras.
• Respond to network alerts and service interruptions promptly.
• Assist on large deployments and updates of systems and software.
• Perform network cabling, wireless networking, and security maintenance.
• Document resolution steps and ticket progress.
• Travel to various company locations for on-site work, sometimes up to a week.
