Works with the Network Team and L1 communications engineers on small to large-scale projects for Capgemini. Capgemini supports a wide range of projects, requiring L1 infrastructure services from standard office setups to resort expansions and new land & attraction builds. It is a complex and challenging environment, but also extremely rewarding. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work creatively within customer standards.
Primary Job Functions / Responsibilities:
- Ensure the success of regional network services, including maintaining and supporting network infrastructure with attention to detail.
- Handle physical tasks indoors and outdoors, involving placement and setup of network equipment.
- Collaborate closely with network delivery services and L1 infrastructure services.
- Communicate accurately and consistently with internal and external customers via phone, email, and ticketing notes.
- Follow detailed instructions for equipment setup (routers, switches, UPS, APs, cabling) and work independently to meet all setup timelines.
- Manage the assigned ServiceNow queue to maintain service level objectives.
- Work night and weekend shifts as required to support project needs.
Education / Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in design and network support functions in a technical environment.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and complete them on time.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Visio.

- Strong technical knowledge of corporate network infrastructures, capable of discussing and teaching technologies, and assisting with proposals and major incident resolution.
