Who We’re Looking For:

This position serves as an analyst performing a wide range of professional responsibilities in an Information Technology environment. Acting as a technical specialist, the analyst provides problem analysis, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and network systems. This role involves on-site or remote diagnosis and resolution of technical issues using a specialized set of tools with elevated system access. The analyst also leads, coordinates, and supports teams working on processes, procedures, and technical specifications, and manages the planning, design, and implementation of IT systems and infrastructure.

- Duration: 1 year with extension likely

- Position location: This is a fully in-person position, requiring to be ONSITE 5x a week at office in Detroit, MI, 48202.

Responsibilities:

Duty 1 – Technical Support and Systems Management (40%)

Serve as a technical specialist providing analysis, implementation, administration, and maintenance of IT systems.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues remotely or on-site using specialized tools.
• Research, document, and develop solutions and procedures for future troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance and support to other technical staff.
• Implement and support applications and associated hardware in a client-server environment.
• Administer and maintain automated systems and application programs.

Duty 2 – Leadership and Process Development (35%)

Lead and coordinate teams responsible for IT processes, procedures, and specifications.

Tasks include:

• Design and implement IT infrastructure including hardware, software, and networks.
• Develop processes and documentation for use by technical teams.
• Establish operational procedures for communication systems, hardware, software, and storage.
• Develop and implement quality assurance standards for IT operations.
• Serve as a liaison between teams, management, and external partners.
• Maintain documentation and prepare reports.

Duty 3 – Network and Server Support (15%)

Maintain and support network operating systems and local application and file servers.

Tasks include:

• Resolve local network connectivity issues.
• Manage user groups and access rights.
• Maintain backup systems for local servers.
• Rebuild and restore failed servers.
• Install and support telecommunications hardware.
• Install and troubleshoot network equipment (e.g., switches, hubs, routers).

Duty 4 – Professional Development and Security Maintenance (10%)

Participate in ongoing training and enforce cybersecurity protocols.

Tasks include:

• Apply security patches and virus remediation tools.
• Attend technical training relevant to job functions.
• Participate in client-specific training to support diverse environments.
• Execute directives to ensure high-quality support and service delivery.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $35 and $40. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
