Job summary

Konami Gaming, a leading game technology provider, seeks a Systems Engineer I to install, sustain, and improve network systems in Las Vegas, NV. You will diagnose issues, configure server-room environments, and collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure reliable operations.

Ideal candidates bring Linux and Cisco experience, knowledge of virtualization, and strong problem-solving skills. This role requires flexibility for occasional travel and the ability to obtain gaming licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years in OS and network infrastructure maintenance.
• Ability to obtain gaming licensure.
• Experience with Linux and Cisco networking hardware.
• Experience with VMs and containers.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and diagnose software and network issues.
• Prepare network specifications with diagrams and configurations.
• Analyze project objectives from engineering and support.
• Develop network-related documentation.
• Design network concepts (logical/physical).
• Consult with customers on server room and security during installation.
• Troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and related systems.
• Coordinate with customers to review network stability and feedback.
• Build solid customer relationships.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
